Lovers or something like it' is his second novel, and was published in France to enormous critical acclaim. He received the Prix Interallie for his third novel, La Fascination du Pire, to be published by Pushkin Press in 2006,and received the Hachette Foundation Literary Prize for his first novel, Artificial Snow. He is also the winner of a New Writer Award from the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation.
